INTERVIEW WITH MAJA WYSOCKA!
Maja Wysocka is a Polish volleyball player and has been training volleyball for 9 years.
1. Can you tell us something about yourself? What is your name, how old are you and where are you from?
„Hi! My name is Maja Wysocka and I’m from Poland.“
2. When did you become interested in volleyball and when did you start training?
„I’m 17 years old and my volleyball adventure began when I was 8!“
3. How much are you tall and what position do you play?
„I’m 178 cm tall and play as a setter.“
4. Who are your idols in sports in general and who in volleyball?
„My sports idol is Maja Ognjenovic, and in sports, Iga Świątek.“
5. In which club did you start training and in which club are you today?
„I started at UKS Pomorzanie Pogodno Szczecin, finished at SMS Police, and now I’m studying at NLO SMS PZPS Szczyrk.“
6. Can you single out some of the successes you achieved with the club?
„Yes! In the 2024/2025 season, we finished second in the Polish Junior Championships, and this season we managed to win two gold medals at the Polish Junior Championships, and in the 2025/2026 season, we’d like to pursue volleyball in the future.“
7. What are your plans for the future in terms of volleyball?
„My biggest goal is to achieve the highest level of play and, of course, represent our country on the national team.“
8. Would you recommend the younger generation of boys and girls to try volleyball?
„Of course! It brings with it many memories and experiences, and certainly a very interesting life in the future, with travels and discovering new places. But the most important thing is to do what you love!“
