INTERVJU SA TEOM TERZIEVSKOM!
Read the interview we had with Tea Terzievska, a young volleyball player from Macedonia, who has been training volleyball for more than 10 years.
1. Možeš li nam reći nešto više o sebi? Kako se zoveš, koliko imaš godina i odakle si?
"My name is Tea Terzievska, I am 23 years old and I was born in the capital of Macedonia, Skopje."
2. When did you become interested in volleyball and when did you start training?
"I have been training volleyball, I can say, since forever, because my mother is a volleyball coach in Skopje, so I always followed her. But I have been playing volleyball seriously since I was ten years old."
3. How much are you tall and what position do you play?
"I am 180 cm tall and I play as a wing spiker ."
4. Who are your idols in sports in general, and who in volleyball?
"My idol in volleyball is the French national team player in the position of outside hitter, Earvin N'Gapeth. In sports in general, there are many athletes whom I admire for their achievements during their careers, one of them is the tennis player Novak Djokovic, as well as the Serbian national team player Tijana Boskovic, who persistently proves that everything is possible."
5. In which club did you start training and in which club are you today?
,,Yes I am. This half-season I'm at Eotovos DSE, a club from Debrecen, Hungary, and we compete in the NBI, the first league of Hungary."
6. Can you single out some of the successes you achieved with the club?
"I could single out more, but my favorite are the two consecutive MVPs won at school competitions, also 8 MVPs during the season in Germany, where the MVP is chosen after every game. But the best feeling is when we achieve the goal we set with my team. That is worth more than individual awards, because after all, volleyball is a team sport. But the winners of those individual awards should have a goal and motivation to be the best they can be."
7. What are your future plans for volleyball?
"Plans for the future, as far as volleyball at the representative level is concerned, are to play the 2023 Silver League games in a good light, to win as many games as possible and to show that we deserve to fight for the colors of our country. The goals regarding the competition in the club for the next season are to train at a higher level, to test the limits of what we can do or what we think we can't do, and of course to evolve in a positive sense."
8. Would you recommend the younger generation of boys and girls to try volleyball?
"I come from a sports family, so sports have always been an option for me, the way I grew up and my younger brother. I can say with certainty that there is nothing better than sports. You meet so many new people, different cultures, new cities, countries. Tournaments, trips, socializing, a little bit of everything and the experience is indescribable. So I would recommend younger generations to try any sport, but of course, I support volleyball."
