Read the interview we had with Luca Kiss, a volleyball player from Hungary who has been training volleyball for almost 15 years.
1. Can you tell us something about yourself? What is your name, how old are you and where are you from?
"My name is Luca Kiss, I'm 21 years old and I'm from Hungary."
2. When did you become interested in volleyball and when did you start training?
"I started playing volleyball in primary school under the influence of my classmates. They invited me to training and I fell in love with the sport straight away. It's been about 14 years."
3. How much are you tall and what position do you play?
"I'm 180 cm and I play as an outside hitter, but I'm an universal player, because last year I played middle also and this year I've been opposite and a libero."
4. Who are your idols in sports in general and who in volleyball?
"My idol is my father he played handball when he was younger and he made me love the sports."
5. Are you a member of a volleyball club and if so, which club?
"I was starting in my hometown in Dunakanyar SE, and now I play in Székesfehérvár city the club called Máv Előre Sc."
6. Can you single out some success and tell us more about it?
"Last season we won the Hungarian NB1 and thanks to that now in this season we played in the first league."
7. What are your plans for the future in terms of volleyball?
"I want to try myself abroad and I just want to do it as long as possible."
8. Would you recommend the younger generation of boys and girls to try volleyball?
"For sure I recommend this sport gives you a lot in life and ofcourse the absence of body against body contact is a great advantage."
